Write Yourself Well is a one-day writing meditation on the benefits of therapeutic and expressive writing. Come and discover the many benefits of Paper Therapy!

We will explore creative journal writing, how to include imagery, colours and drawing in your journal writing and how poem and poetry therapy can help you better understand difficult, complex and challenging emotions and events.

During the day you’ll be introduced to a variety of research methods, which highlight the wellness potential, and possibilities of therapeutic writing. We’ll take a closer look at how writing therapeutically can enable you to work things out and make sense of problems and challenges as well as generate ideas and solutions. You’ll discover through the writing process what you didn’t know you knew and connect with the writing voice unique to you that expresses who you both on and off the page, authentically and wholeheartedly.

The content of the day has both personal and professional benefits and you’ll be introduced to a range of ways and methods that will help you establish time and space to set up your own personal writing practice and learn how your writing practice can become a catalyst for insight, inspiration and greater self awareness.

This is a creative journey where we will dive straight in, so come with a favourite notebook, a set of coloured pens or markers and a favourite book/poem and pen. Trust your pen and fingertips to do the rest, in a safe and creative incubator with loads of writing and creativity activities to feed the empty page.

This workshop is ideal for writers, coaches, therapists, counsellors and health practitioners and anyone who wants to write more. All levels welcome.
